Born and raised in Italy, I have always loved languages. I had my first English lesson at the age of 8, added French at 11 and German at 15. I have lived in Germany and now the UK.
My education is also international, having studied in Italy, France, and the UK.
Background in IT
I have worked in the industry for several years while studying translation and my first official gig in translation was a two-year job in the localization department of a cool IT start-up.
Moving on to the Law
While working in IT I started exploring the law and I specialised in legal translations, launching my career in this field in 2016. Since then, I have successfully translated for courts, solicitors, and police in criminal cases, both giving a voice to victims of crime as well as helping thousands of people obtain their Italian citizenship.
I provide certified translations for the Italian Consulate – such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, criminal records, etc. and I can also be found in the list of translators on their website.
I am also a certified legal interpreter and a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters.
You can see the services I provide as a translator and interpreter.
